About our Featured Crew:
Referee Johnny Grier has been in the NFL for over 20 years working many playoff games. He is the first African American referee in NFL history. Before making history, he was a FJ (now called BJ) and worked a Super Bowl.
Umpire Carl Paganelli #124 came into the league in 1999 and worked with Kukar and Luckett in his previous seasons. He has worked the divisional round of the playoffs the past two years.
Head Linesman James Wilson #43 came into the league in 1998 and has been excellent thus far. This is his third season with Johnny after working with McElwee in years past.
Line Judge Jeff Bergman #32 is one of the best in the league. He's worked with Johnny in years past and worked several championship games as well as Super Bowl XXXI.
Field Judge #38 Eddy Powers is in his first year in the NFL.
Side Judge Larry Rose #128 is in his 6th year in the NFL. This is his first year on Grier's crew and has worked the playoffs each year including a Championship round game last season.
Back Judge Scott Green #19 is a veteran. He's no stranger to playoff games and also works as a referee in NFL Europe hoping for a spot when one becomes available in the NFL. He has proven to be one of the best after working Super Bowl XXXVI last season!
